Yesterday, December 26, DSWD conducted its initial relief distribution in Babatngon, Leyte.
Working despite the ocassional rain, DSWD staff, in coordination with Mayor Maria Fe Rondina and her staff, were able to distribute 178 family food packs during the day.
These family food packs from DSWD were given to the families with totally damaged houses, while the families with partially damaged houses were provided relief packs from the LGU.
As of today, December 27, distribution of the remaining relief goods is still ongoing. DSWD released a total of 470 FFPs to Babatngon.
