Three SLP Associations (SLPAs), livelihood groups organized by DSWD-SLP, from the Municipailty of Almeria, Biliran Province distribute free snacks and spreads simple acts of kindness and generosity to lift the spirits of brave frontliners who work tirelessly to fight the spread of COVID-19 in their town.

The Samahang Kaunlaran (SAKA) SLPA has been distributing coffee and snacks every other day to front liners stationed in Brgy. Tabunan. The SLPA members, who were able to put up a general merchandise store through SLP’s capital assistance, also donated additional goods to their barangay and has volunteered to shoulder the electricity bill for the waiting shed while it is being used as an emergency command area.

SAKA SLPA members at their makeshift emergency center. The SLPA provides 1 gallon of drinking water every day for the frontliners in their barangay.

In Brgy. Pili, the B-ALM PILI SLPA also provided free snacks to all the volunteers who distributed relief goods and workers who disinfected the surroundings of their barangay.

Meanwhile, the B-ALM LO-OK SLPA was seen packing goods to be given to their frontliners, especially for the Barangay Lo-ok police officers or Tanods.
