#RESBAKUNA | In partnership with the City Government of Tacloban and the Department of Health, 142 DSWD Field Office VIII (DSWD FOVIII) employees were vaccinated with AstraZeneca as a preventive measure to fight against COVID-19.

Director Marie Angela Gopalan thanked the organizers and partners for including the DSWD Field Office VIII employees in the vaccination activity on March 23, 2021, at the Tacloban City Convention Center. She further expressed her gratitude for recognizing the contribution of social welfare and development workers as essential workers in this pandemic.

The vaccination program of the government aims to assist government employees, health workers, and frontliners who have been at the forefront of providing government programs and services amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
