Aktibong nakibahagi ang DSWD Eastern Visayas sa idinaos na Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) sa Llorente, Eastern Samar. Sa pangunguna ng Sub-field Office Team Leader Edison Cinco, namahagi ang DSWD ng P3,000 na ayuda sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) sa 327 na pamilya mula sa Brgy. Candoros, Brgy. Magtino at Brgy. Burak.

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Office of the president, nakapamahagi ang DSWD ng P981,000.00 sa nasabing aktibidad.

Ang RCSP ay isang programa ng pamahalaan na layunin ay maihatid ang mga serbisyo ng gobyerno sa mga komunidad, lalo na sa mga liblib at mahihirap na lugar. Ang programang ito ay tulong-tulong na ipinapatupad ng iba’t-ibang ahensya, katulad ng Office of the President, DSWD, Office of Civil Defense, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Llorente, at ang pamunuan ng Probinsya ng Eastern Samar.
