The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VIII-Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) wins second place for the Best Operations Office during the recently conducted National Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Awarding Ceremony at the Landbank of the Philippines Plaza, Malate, Manila.

Regional Director Grace Subong, Assistant Regional Director for Administration Clarito Logronio, and the Division Chief of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Management Office received the award for the Region.

Over the years, the program remains steadfast to deliver its mandate to the 286,831 target households it serves. Despite the limitations, challenges, and dynamically changing needs of the communities, convergence with partner Local Government Units, National Government Agencies, and Civil Society Organizations have been strengthened to produce meaningful outcomes in the hope of guiding the beneficiaries in achieving a self-sufficient level of well-being, harnessing the strengths of individuals, families, and communities to build their capacities and skills matched with available opportunities and resources, and sustaining the gains of the program. Responsive innovations and strategies have also been installed to match existing systems and procedures.

The annual PRAISE or Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence recognizes exemplary employees of the department. It is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity, and productivity in public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees for their contributions to the improvement of government operations.
