The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VIII, through its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), held a Partnership Conference with its partner Civil Society Organizations (CSOs); National Government Agencies (NGAs); and National Government Organizations (NGOs) on November 30, 2023, at The Oriental Hotel, Palo Leyte.

The said conference was graced by Regional Director Grace Subong; OIC- Assistant Regional Director for Operations Natividad Sequito; and Division Chief Paula Unay.

Highlights of the activity include the Presentation of regional Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) updates; 2023 CSO accomplishments; and the Presentation of results during the Multi-Stakeholders Summit which was conducted in October this year, in Angeles Pampanga and participated by the NGAs and LGUs.

The 4Ps also welcomed its new partner, the Cocogen Insurance Corp. through a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Meanwhile, the Samar Crusade Against Poverty Inc. sealed their agreement anew under the program.

Further, an Awarding Ceremony for the partner stakeholders took place to recognize their role in maximizing the impact of social welfare programs like the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The Awarding Ceremony was also a way of the department’s demonstration of utmost appreciation towards its partners for their support in the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program most especially in helping the Pantawid households attain an improved and sustainable well-being.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to strengthen its collaboration and coordination with partner stakeholders to fulfill its mandate.
