The Department of Social Welfare and Development Sustainable Livelihood Program (DSWD-SLP) in Leyte 2 Cluster was recognized with a plaque of appreciation during the 36th founding anniversary celebration of the 802nd Infantry Brigade, 8th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army, held at Camp Jorge Downes in Ormoc City on 16 April 2024.

The award commended the pivotal role of SLP in providing livelihood assistance to people’s organizations in conflict-vulnerable areas.

On behalf of SLP Leyte 2 Cluster, the Provincial Administrative Assistant Joanna Rosa, accepted the award.

In a Facebook post, Rosa said that the recognition underscores the collaborative efforts between SLP and the military in fostering sustainable livelihoods and making a positive impact in the lives of the people they serve.🌱
