SAP validation in Palompon, Leyte
DSWD recently sent a team to Palompon, Leyte to verify the eligibility of 64 beneficiaries who were not able to receive their emergency subsidy of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) in the April 28 payout.
They were validated on May 5-6, 2021, and DSWD has yet to schedule for their payout.

DSWD Eastern Visayas, represented by Assistant Regional Director for Operations Marlene Kahano, recently attended the turnover of the Government Emergency Communications System (GECS) -Mobile Operations Vehicle for Emergency (MOVE) to the Department of Information and Communications (DICT).

Two hundred displaced workers in Catbalogan City, Samar received financial assistance from DSWD through its program the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) on May 18, 2021.
