DSWD Eastern Visayas Namahagi ng P13M sa Patuloy na Implementasyon ng B2

Nagsimula na ang pamamahagi ng DSWD Eastern Visayas ng P5,000 Emergency Subsidy bilang bahagi ng reimplementation ng Bayanihan 2 (B2). 

Sa pinakahuling tala, nakapamahagi ang DSWD ng P13,255,000 para sa 2,651 na mga benepisaryo mula sa Abuyog, Leyte. Inaasahan namang makakapagsimula ang distribusyon sa iba pang mga munisipyo sa lalong madaling panahon habang patuloy ang pamamahagi ng DSWD nitong emergency Subsidy.

Nagsimula na ang pamamahagi ng Family Food Packs (FFPs) na ipinadala ng DSWD Eastern Visayas sa Maasin City. Nagpadala ang DSWD ng 1,036 na FFPs sa siyudad noong June 7, matapos na humingi ang Local Government Unit ng dagdag na relief items para sa kanilang isinasagawang relief operations para sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng bagyong Dante. DSWD Eastern Visayas Nakiki-isa sa National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Isa sa mga sakuna na nakakaapekto sa bansa ang mga lindol. At hindi katulad ng mga bagyo, walang pinipiling oras ang mga lindol. Wala ding paraan upang malaman kung kailan lilindol.

Dahil dito, nakikiisa ang DSWD Eastern Visayas sa pagsagawa ng National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill ngayong araw upang ipalaganap ang tamang pagresponde sa lindol sa pamamagitan ng pag-Duck, Cover and Hold.
